Little Rainbow children
in colors of every hue.
Sprouting up like flowers,
kissed by God's dew.

The flowers grew, the birds did sing the day that Lissie got her wings.
Oh, how her family continued to cry as her spirit ascended on high!
God opened up his holy doors, and said my angel you'll cry no more.
No more suffering and no more pain since my God called out her name.

A Tribute To Daddy

Because he raised four children
When my mother past away.
Because he preached togetherness
And taught us not to stray. Because He's been both mother and
Father through my childhood years.
Because of all the many times he
Wiped away my tears. Because he remained the calm when
Turbulence entered my life.
Because when he sought love again,
He chose another Christian wife. Because of his accomplishment I can
Hold my head up high.
Because I feel his constant presence,
To me he'll never die. And it is because I am cut from his fabric,
I can watch as he's carried down that isle,
Hold hands with the rest of his children and
Turn my tears into a smile.
