the new year has started
what is awaiting us is it
doom and gloom or is it good news
...
searching for the lost treasure
of which i being trying to find
the sparkle of the coins blinds my eye.
...
flowers blosseming birds chirping
sunshine breaks through the gaps from trees,
the breeze rippleing through the leaves.
...
for those who travel far and wide
to see the wonders of the sea
to hear the gulls fly over the waves
to see the elegance of the beat of wings
...
snow falling heavily opun the trees
snow gathering on top of trees
a time to reflect on what we have
as the festive season has began
...
sense of hope can be found
within the folds of paper
wrapped tightly around a box
and a pinned pink bow on top

my name is shane nolan and seek to improve my poetry, i am 19 years old and of small build im not what you think of a person whom you seek i live in the island of ireland in a lovely area a place to rest my head and to think all day a place where at the moment i stay i like all kind of music, what do you prefer i listin rap rock techno and celtic. its to whom it strikes intrest you might wonder why im writeing this by poetry but arent poems themselves a story why not tell a bit about yourself by the words of poetry)
