Scott Federman Poems

My car is old
rusted
and the seat is busted.

Assigned a certain group, I have training, and a certification to aide.
My goal is not to aide, but to spend as much time on my big bottom.
No matter the season, I have the reason to not help. Even if it is autumn.
I don't care what is asked, it's clear that I don't want to help. I like being rotten.
...

Early and late I push the noisy cart down the hall and you know I am coming.
You are not sure where you are, or even who you are.

Sometimes you make no sense when you speak.

The Best Poem Of Scott Federman

1975 Datsun

My car is old
rusted
and the seat is busted.

It's tiered
and the inspection sticker is expired.

A flicker of light from the headlight
but no light from the taillight.

The steering wheel is sticky
the whole car is icky.

It is junk from Japan
shamefully driven in Detroit.

It's ugly and blue
It makes me feel that way too.

It affects my life
I can't get a wife.
