Dying- -a difficult song to sing
When lust for life appears

If poetry is the billowy waves
That surge in your mind
Filled with violent emotions
Utterly it failed why

Lively undying turf you are
Of my life's garden of flowers
An embodiment of dogged determination
Invincible courage and persistency

Into migrants metamorphosed we are
Much against our inner proclivity
In the very present transcended we are
Into mere onlookers of the past.

Exposed to the tempest from time immemorial
But not beaten,
Battling against lightning thunder
Down the ages;
...

Over the bosom of every Nepali
Let the snowy mountain dance,
In the lips of every countrymen
Let breathtaking rhododendrons smile.

Vanquished may be
Defeat I acknowledge never
Nor do I readily compromise;
My inner soul invincible always
