Why are we forever asking why?
Why are there no justifications for what happens in Iraq and Palestine?
Why is it that these kids can't sleep, so they scream at night?
But their screams are drowned out by political lies.

I love the woman who refuses to be your slave,
who refuses your definitions of beauty and only bows down when she prays,
I love the woman who is modest at heart, who says this body is not for your eyes, but for the sake of God,
She's educated and bright without a sense of pride,

If she's happy, I'm happy, especially when it flows from her to me,
