Ryan Orleans

Ryan Orleans Poems

Silence and stillness claim the heart
As tear-filled words rip two apart
Voices shake, fears and doubts start to wake
Like a sombre piece of woeful art
...

Nothing comes close
No, nothing compares
To those sunset eyes
Or that auburn hair
...

A sky so dimly lit
As dusk slowly encroaches
A lonesome heart permits
The anguish that approaches
...

Ryan Orleans Biography

I'm a student, though I guess that won't be true anymore as of May 2014 when I finish final year in university. I've been writing as a hobby since I was 16. I wrote a few songs, a few poems, and a book (though the book remained unfinished and the songs were just lyrics, the music hasn't been done) . I'm using this site for my newer poems, as I believe my older ones were from a time I was less developed and experienced in writing. Not saying I'm good now but I'm definitely better than I was. I apologise if my poems come off a bit sappy, naive, or cheesy. My personal romances are where I usually draw inspiration. I'll explore different genres when I feel more confident. I hope you all enjoy my work!)

The Best Poem Of Ryan Orleans

Unfinished

Silence and stillness claim the heart
As tear-filled words rip two apart
Voices shake, fears and doubts start to wake
Like a sombre piece of woeful art

Stories recalled from way back when
Become faded memories of never again
Fleeting is hope, like a brief final note
That all once known faces its end

All starts dwindling, slowly away
Yet love holds on, love chooses to stay
It is there for all time, both yours and mine
It waits, and it waits; it will never stray

Remember me now, as I was before
I'll remember you too, the one I adore
For one day we shall meet, on a day so sweet
To love and be loved, by each other once more
