At The End Of A Perfect Day

feel the warmth beneath your feet
sand between your toes
the wind in your hair
under the rays of the gleaming sun ☼
laying there staring at the light blue sky
the smell of fish and salt in the air
the sound of seagulls somewhere not far away

we went there to explore
to find shells never seen before
to roam around freely and run till we couldn’t no more
to swim in the deep blue sea
to watch the waves hit the shore
we went there to play

but at the end of a perfect day
we all saygoodbye for today
for all perfect days wont last forever ♥
