Soldier...
You are fighting your war
Blood sweat and tears
Feeling hopeless

Just when...
Thoughts of all hope is gone
You raise your eyes
And looking toward the Heavens

You see a silver lining
And a hand reaching down
Oh can feel the breeze
From an angel`s wings

They wrap all around you
Holding you close
As they carry you home...
They will carry you...

Oh Mother...
Gone is your youth
Gray is your crown
Most days feeling down

And you...
Lost your son in battle
Your daughter is due
Your sickness takes a turn

Looking out your window
And sitting on the sill
Is a dove...can you feel the breeze
From an angel`s wings

They wrap all around you
Holding you close...
They carry you home...
They will carry you...

Girl...
The labor pain is harsh
And your suffering lingers
And you cry out to mother

You need her so...
But she is gone
Just when...you think
Hope is lost

Time to meet your baby boy
Laughter through tears of joy
