The Indian Girl!

When a girl child in the family gave birth,
Some aborted and some treated precious than mirth.
They're called a stress to the family,
But always she supports them strongly.

When she grew up to be educated,
With the kitchen chores she was fascinated.
Adventures she had too many in life,
At the age of 14, she was made an old man's wife.

When she tried to fight for all her rights,
They harassed her all day, all night.
Sacrifices uncountable she made throughout,
For her child she was the best, no doubt!

Never had she imagined life was so bad,
For all the moments she spent were depressed, painful & sad.
9 months in her womb, a life that lived,
'Abort the baby girl' her family said and she was deceived.
