Dying

Shadows cast on unblinking eyes
World reflected in a dying gaze,
Death’s macabre dance with life.

Succumb to darkness
Become the nothingness,
Life’s illusion lifted.

The veil torn from your sight
To see the truth as death approaches.

The light slowly fades to grey,
The end… more beautiful then life?
