A short walk, holding hands while we talk..
For me a new place, memories for you they show on your face..
A road and a gate, A bit further, a short time to wait..
Up a small knoll, the story starts to unfold..
...

You ask what makes you different,
It’s not one thing it’s many that have made me sentient,
The gleam in your eye, the smile on your face,
The way your hair falls and your embrace.
...

I reach out for your hand and can't find it..
I long to feel your skin brush mine, to feel you pull it to you..to feel the electricity I always feel when I am near you..
It's not there.
I want to feel the safety, the feeling of being one with you in a world of many.
...

It seams we are at the end again,
The ups and downs, not committing to begin.
Waiting, wanting, never really ends,
Another day, another night alone..
...

Two Individuals intertwined, holding onto their small piece of the earth, Two unique entities embraced in their world, separate, but at the same time forever part of one another, roots firmly planted against time and all the world has to throw at them.
...

Alone with my thoughts,
Alone feels like forever and only moments.
Alone in my bed..alone in my head,
Close my eyes...be someplace with You instead.
...

Come lay your head on my chest,
Safe in my arms and be at rest.
Share with me Tell me of your day,
Your hopes, your dreams and fears all you have to say.
