A Love Letter To A Friend

My friend..
Time passes by without us knowing
how it all started, you see.
There's not even much to say, we
could agree even in silence..
There's nothing much to do, consider
it done when we're together
To please or not to please, it doesn't
matter as long as we're happy
together..

It's a natural occurence between two
people sharing the same thoughts
and emotions yet unknowingly
repelling each other's need for
having each other

We can't even imagine being together
forever in each other's future, yet
can't live a single day without
each other

We can't even bare to hurt each other
but rather hurt oneself in
doing so

Needing each other's company when
one feels lonely but then
that's all we ever could be

I got you, you got me but there's
no guarantee we'd feel like this
as we lead separate lives

We know each other to well,
so well we didn't have the
time to be honest for what
we feel for each other...
