In a lavish mansion
Close friends and fam'ly gathered
For its the master's grand son's
Birthday get-together.
...
For decades, into love,
We have been in unison,
And why such an indifference now
To our bewitched acquaintance?
...
The Son Of A Servant
In a lavish mansion
Close friends and fam'ly gathered
For its the master's grand son's
Birthday get-together.
Folks in grand attire
While sipping glasses of wine
Engaged in joyful chatter
With their near and dear ones.
Children too instantly
made friends with other children
And went to have fun quickly
In the well groomed garden.
In such a swanky place
Appeared a crudely dressed boy,
Wearing but a lovely face,
Who looked forward to enjoy.
His ill-fortuned father
had brought him along to help
On this hectic days labour
To earn some more for himself.
He too with diligence,
Throughout the late night's party,
Complied with all instructions
From each and everybody.
Later when most had gone,
Freed a little while and spared,
He picked an ignored balloon
That was under a chair
And ran toward some kids
Then played along by himself
Until grand mama saw this
And ordered him to help.
