Your Touch Part 1 Poem by Daniel Martin1976

Your Touch Part 1

Rating: 4.5

Do you remember that day?
That day you went away.
Those five simple words. 'I don't love you anymore.'
Killed me in so many ways.
It's been four years and I still love you.
I still miss your touch.

Do you remember the night I looked back at you?
I knew I truly loved you.
We were so young.
I had no idea our life together had begun.
Ups and downs, smiles and frowns. Oh, How I loved you so much.
I still miss your touch.

Do you remember the day I asked to to marry me?
I still go to that spot off the road.
I remember everything about that day.
We stood in the desert snow amongst the bitter cold.
You said 'Yes' and I dreamt of us growing old.
Seems like yesterday.
A better time gone away.
Now my world is only gray.
I still miss your touch.
