Your Stare



It’s the eyes I see in the mirror,
The ones I see now,
They’re deep
Vastly so,

Like watching the diamond rocks fall
Into the canyons,
Drifting to
The fog I’m standing above,

Or staring into the water,
Reflections of sky blue,
Into the abyss where
The clouds swallow stars

Your eyes,
The ones I see now
Are vastly similar…


I can see as deep

Into your infinity

As you let me
