Your Smile Poem by Dyhanara Rios

Your Smile

Money would be nice to have;
I’d buy myself things that sparkle.
But money can’t buy everything;
Well, it can’t buy your smiling face,
And wow…how it sparkles…

You see, all I need is your smile!

Perfection would be nice to have;
I’d be at the top of the class,
And have so many friends,
But to be honest,
I don’t need anyone but you,
And is it worth it to be perfect?
I don’t think it matters,

Because all I need is your smile.

And wouldn’t it be nice
To hang out for a moment?
To talk about our lives,
And just relax for a while?
Money and perfection
Just would not compare
If you and I had time to spare,
For us to share…
Even if it’s just a little while…

But all I need is your smile.
