Your Return Poem by ice johnson

Your Return

When I believed it was over
The steps I took to live till now
I survived you and I
Now you come back into my life?

My mind going in circles
My words reminding me of what I use to say
My heart falls back into the same rhythm as before
My old-self crawling back into me

Why are you here?
You taking control of me
I'm going insane over you

My eyes can't stop staring at you
My hands can't keep away from you
My mind thinking of you

I love you, something I banished so many times
Long ago is here again

Why did you return?
