Your Love Saved Me Poem by Catherine Drummings Hinton

Your Love Saved Me

Lost like a child, no words to explain
My heart had been broken in two
I thought I could feel nothing but pain
Then I was blessed by the presence of you
Like a protector you held me close
Never to question my need
You promised me you'd never let go
And that together we'd always succeed
I held your hand without any fear
As you caressed away all my doubt
You held my heart so very near
I knew that this was what love was about
I thank God every night for his loving grace
And for all the goodness I continue to see
And each time I look into your beautiful face
I'm convinced your love saved me

Very nice poem about the power of love. Some of us are still searching, your poem is a shard of hope.
