Your Journey
I see the darkness
In your eyes
You say it hurts too much
To even cry
You've tried so hard
To no avail
You look back on your life
To see, all you've done is fail
It seems the more you try
The less things work out
You've all but given up
On a life filled with doubt
You say you are content
To live life the way you do
You say that by doing this
You feel you'll somehow get through

Observing the darkness in eyes we still feel the presence of light that guides life for a better journey. An excellent poem is well penned.10
