I see you down by the lake
Drowning in your pool of tears
I see you down by the waters
Crying hard in your heart below the willows

I taste your sorrow in its depth
The attribute of your honest heart
I taste your agony right through your breath
The reflection of queries billowing within your heart

I hold you in my heart
I stare deep into your eyes
As so to see through your hurt
I gaze hard into your beautiful heart

I see you down by the lake
Drawing closer and closer to eruption
I do see you down by the waters
Ripping your beautiful heart out for my sake

I see you down below the willows
Prosecuting your beautiful heart
I see you in your moment of sorrow
Wondering if your love is or isn't in my heart

And yet I wake up all so instantly
Wake up to the sound of my voice
Whispering sorry to your soul gently
For this is too strange a pace
