'Young And Old' Poem by joseph nez

'Young And Old'

Would not it be different
you and I into a walk
Would I hold your hand
Could you into your quiet talk
Do again yesterday the breaking to first appearance of light
shivery beautiful in your eyes bright

Does my whispers across from you, can only awhile
With less and not far of a broken walk less than a mile
Would you remember and reach in hand
holding an investment into a broken old man
But life into a walk
without words and whispers at you
can be a different unravel steps unmeaning to do
And you been here before

I understand to watch you into the evening light
I recall our growing deeper into deep no reason alike
Should I to hold the remembrance in your hand
Would you undo and save your every kiss in my thirst
Will I reach across to the smile from the far, hot and cold
Together we've become a young and old
With your eyes in doubt, gentle to walk
All yours... beautiful, elegant form taught
Complete without no return
Into an evening night
your dark night
Beyond a brisk walk and shadows of heart
Growing deeper into deep, with reason to part
Telling this lie
Wouldn't it be different had not to die
