You have a piece of my heart
Safe and tucked away
You know you'll stay there
Each and every day

I know I don't tell you
As often as I should
But somehow I believed
It was understood

That was my mistake
For those words should have been spoken
When they are not said
A heart could feel broken

So, from this moment on
You'll never have doubt
For sure I'll let you know
What my feelings are about
