You've Got To Stop Poem by Phoenix1 Smith

You've Got To Stop

I wish you will have
much empathy to feel
in your heart
not to be callous
thinking only of your
own happiness
you need to face up
to tormenting reality
of truly what happened..
she told me everything
in black and white
scarring ugly facts
straight to the very core
the painful truth..
I beg of you
to stop reminding me
of the seething pain
that was given to me
during that fateful night
you have to stop
being inconsiderate
you need to cease being
uncaring, rubbing it in
my heart is still
in a very delicate state
trying very hard to cope
with what I went through
that harrowing night
still can't get over the pain
I am striving to forget..
pleading you to help me,
please help me, my love
to forget the pain
You have to stop
being so heartless
just try for once,
even just for once,
try to feel my pain
I am begging you
you have just got to stop
having me relieve the pain
you have got to stop....
