You Still Can't Here Us Poem by Lore Me34

You Still Can't Here Us

I hear a lot of you say we need to get over it.Yet you don't know what it is.We have told you time and time again but you still don't hear us.You don't hear us when we tell you that when it comes to us we are assumed guilty until we are proven guilty because we don't have your privilege. But you still don't hear us.We have told you also this dream you speak of for us it is deferred. But you still don't hear us.You say we whine and wait for hand outs. What you don't seem to realize is the only hand out we want or need is an equal chance. But you still don't hear us.So here is why we can't and won't get over it; because you still don't hear us.
