the weather is
too hot and so you
decide to take
a bath

inside the bathroom
of the house
your own house you
sing
under the shower your
hair is bubbling with
shampoo

you smell like mint gum
and you sing like
operatic

you do not realize
that you are heard by
everyone there
in the neighborhood on
such a quite hot day
when everyone is taking
shelter too inside
their houses


it is the warm temperature
that serves as the medium
of your song
and you do not realize
(of course)how happy they
have become
listening to your shower song.....


you see? you just did not sing
for yourself
you have sung for everyone....
