You Promise Poem by Felix Emeka George

You Promise

The first time I met you
I fell in love with you
I said I'd like us to be together
And ever never l to broke my promise
In times of a scorching sun
I will walk the road of all needs

On my wedding day I promised
The same words I gave to the world
That I would be your bybyour side
Under the rain and the sun
Our Will's will be against the world

Look at my lips stains no lies
I am not that most beautiful,
I am only a beautiful rose
To you I will be more of appreciation
And not only of you to possession

And when you ceases to walk
I will make you to work
Because all my happiness is your
Throughout my life and to you

The best of me you will have immensely
In the world of happiness in me
A laugh
Where there is ceased of sadness
All day in my alms to joyous in laughs.

Aside my poems for you
And for others to read
My new talent would be emerged
A new factory of comedy
If it will make you happy
While all my time by your side
For the world to see
You and I always

You and I
All the way
Worthy to be forever
As you promise the day
You won't leave me.
