Memories of those distant days still linger
In my heart;
When only sorrow, pain and hatred
were my part.
When I thought life was not so great
And, I didn’t know what was there in my fate.
Then you came along and wiped my tears.
You held my hand and got rid of all my fears,
You gave me your love and showed me u care,
And I knew, with u der is nothing I can’t share…
It was you my friend who taught me to smile
And told me our friendship is not so fragile
You told me you’ll be with me forever
And leave my side never,
But, today I sit here alone,
And wait to hear the ring of my phone
Wait to hear the sound of your voice,
To remember the past and rejoice
I hope I am still a part of your heart
And the memories of the past still linger
In your heart!
