There is no hope for me
I often hear people say
I look at them and ask
Have you talked to the Lord today?

They look at me with puzzled eyes
A frown upon their brow
The they ask me the question
When, where and how?

When, is anytime you like
Where, anywhere at all
How, well that's easy
Just give His name a call

No matter where, no matter when
He's always there for you
But taking that first step
Is something you must do

And when you call upon Him
He'll never let you down
Then when you take Him into your life
He'll forever be around
