My love turns to hate,
And my joy to pain,
Leaving me in flakes,
Like a heart dissected with blades,
Still wonder why being repaid with loathsome,
When all i gave was true,
Promises of staying for life,
But regret, you are slaying my life,
Making me fall from the ladder,
My life is all shattered,
Dampened in pain and strain,
Your word sounded so passionate and true,
But by this experience,
I now know what is true,
Nothing hurts like broken promises,
You lost me in the race,
But, i'll find my way home.
