You hold my heart in the night
enfolding it with your love
until the first sunlight

I wish there is a way I could stay
to spend the whole day with you
I don’t want to turn and go away,

I dread every goodbye, holding
back the tears as I want to cry,
turning to leave I feel I would die…

So I wrap my arms around you
my lips finding yours once more,
kissing you, taking away the blue

knowing that every night you hold my heart
as if day would never start
as if night and day would never part
