You are the underlying and over-riding
Thought behind every tear and smile,
Born a natural princess, Borne of Fate Deriding
Men who doubt Perfection and Beauty could Reconcile-
After Millenia apart. And Diana would seethe with Envy
At your natural charms, no pretension showing.
And when I feel nothing but Pain within me,
My memories of you set my broken-heart glowing.
But Fires and Men burn then turn to dust,
Every living creature has but one True Desire.
So Part we did, and if Part we must,
Maybe for a day God will subdue the Fire:
Without you, my Soul burns without Mercy.
And even with you there's a deepest longing,
Divine Discontent, as I were Percy.
Without you, Life's like Werther without Lotte,
There is no sense of Belonging.
