of summertime tempest
of lonely evenings
and dreamy nights

You are my sorrow
of passers by
blinking into memories
like evening tide
upon the end of my days.

you are my sorrow
you are my everlasting
agony of days i relish.

you
that come alive
in my blood and sweat.

mixing desires
with rain.

you are my sorrow
of sunny times
that passed into oblivion.

You are my sorrow
that pours as lava
upon my heart of crust

you are my sorrow
of icing
that craves my one last breath
of life.
