You Are My Freedom Poem by Krazy Rae

You Are My Freedom

Wnadering through my mind,
finding traces of you within my head.
It's been so long since I've heard your voice,
so long since our last embrace.
Why must I suffer and be alone in this test
of our love?
Why must life torment those who
just want to have fun?
Can you hear my heart calling out
to you in complete agony?
See how I suffer inside without you?
My heart grows cold toward life as death
begins to call my name.
He calls to me to come join him
but I most hastily decline.
For it's your love that keeps me
holding on.
Without your love I would be but a miserable person
waiting for someone to stumble upon her.
But you my love keep me from losing my mind.
You are my Freedom
