You And Me Poem by Joscelyn Alderdice

You And Me

I look at you..
You look at me..

'please tell me what you see when you look at me? '

I see blondness and stupidity,
Arrogance and ignorance
I see many things, with only one thing to say
I HATE YOU!

I I walk closer to you..
I see something familiar, that reminds you of me
Ah now I see...
YOU are ME

This is a very deep poem of self examination. How many people can or will, look inside of themselves and give themselves a critical review? Not many, especially not many men who feel there is nothing to review. Little do they know. This is another poem that makes the reader look inside at who, and how they are. A 10+ and thank you for sharing. Love & hugs, Barbara
