It’s another simple morning
On another simple day
I’m trying to solve the riddle
Before time slips away

The merry-go-round spins faster
I don’t know what to do
The only thing I’m sure of
Is holding on to you

My hands are stripped and bleeding
From holding on so tight
I’m so afraid to fall off
I hold on with all my might

I’m praying that you’ll be here
That again I’ll be with you
When you smile and hold me tightly
There isn’t anything I can’t do

I’d gladly give up my eternity
To have you hold me one more time
For whenever you are with me
I know my world is mine

Everything I’ve ever come to do
To somehow find my way
Was touched by your special magic
That transformed my night and day

When time finally comes full circle
And there’s nothing left to do
I’ll know that I’ll have made it
For my heart will yearn for you
