You

Rating: 5.0

I was playfully searching
with no intent of really finding one
she was patiently waiting
she thought i was the one

In my playful thoughts i said
I'm off to a fancy world of pretension
she was really not my type
but she spoke of love and lust!

Oh and she showered me with burning kisses
so exquisite i almost forgot my name
And the beast in me i could not tame
It rushed excitingly to devour her!

Was i losing control?
Was i finally losing myself?
But she looked so lovely each day
And she was really not my type

Day by day, night after night
Endless questions running in my humbled mind
She was really good
I was held helplessly yearning for more

Stripped off of my foolish mask
She embraced me with her loving arms
never leave me, she said with her poignant pleas
And my heart was never again at peace

As we walked in the moonlit boulevard
I clasped her hands in sweet surrender
The night stood still as her love engulfed my being
And the starlit sky watched us pass by..
