You promised me forever
That you will leave me never
With every step you give your hand
Through every storm
You are my sun… … ..

But now those days are gone
When both our hearts still beat as one…

Now lying here all alone
I can’ t believe that you have gone
Too far away for me to reach
Still too near for me to miss

Without a word you walked away
You left my heart in sheer dismay
And in my heart’ s silent tears I hear
The dawning of the things I fear

Then darkness fell as fears awake
Regretting each and every mistake
The fire that purges souls entwined
Has burned my skin, my soul unkind

And so forever in silence laid
I bid my sins forever paid…

But I’ ll hold you forever
In my heart you will stay
If only through memories
Fulfill your promises, …
