Yoshimi Rebound

In Edmund White's 'Our Young Man'
I am put out, vexed,
by his 'Nam-myoho-renge-kyo'.

I heard it countless times
when I was around 23 -
I shared house with a devotee.

I can still hear its echo;
but it is 'Namyo-horen-gekyo'.
