Yeti's Song
And as I climb the mountain of discontent,
I sing the Yeti's song
Knowing you have decided to leave me here,
The slings of redempation are thrown to my heart
I will be carrying the song of sorrow
Until I climb to the summit
And confess my sadness to the monsters,
So, they can destroy the sin that brought me here
The expectation that Yetis can "destroy" her sins takes the poet to the summit. The reader joins her, automatically. Nice one
