Yesterday
Yesterday is a day away
The anxieties not given away
As I learned to do away
Not this day but every day.
Courage came from nowhere
Now I know from where
Who else can be there
In trouble when you are.
The peace I longed long
Came to me all along
The day changed headlong
To place me where I belong.
Yes, I belong to this place
Yet it is not my place
Though I need not replace
Where He found a right place.
