Yes, You Poem by Kelly Carmicael

Yes, You

Hey, you
Didn’t I see you crying yesterday?
Wasn’t I the one who took your pain away
Why did you go and leave me
All alone
After everything you put me through.

Hey, you
You're the only one who can make me smile
Even when I want to run for miles
Away from here.
I wish you would come back
You already have me trapped.

Hey, you
Don’t walk away from me
Not now, not ever.
If it weren't for you
I wouldn’t be me.
And without you, there is no me.

Hey, you
I know I deny these feelings
But I have reasons
For pushing you away.
I'm afraid,
So please try to catch me when I fall.
