Yellow Tulip Poem by Chris Natalius

Yellow Tulip

Hearing the song of loneliness,
Thinking of questions with no answer,
Searching the meaning of grey,
Wondering is there any place for me in your heart?

Wondering will everything be the same?
What should I do?
How should I act?
Should I stay away from you?

But my little heart says I can’t
I can’t help thinking about you,
I can’t forget your angelic smile,
I can’t forget about those white periwinkles,

Laugh, cry, happiness, sadness,
All the things we’ve gone through,
It seems just yesterday I confess to you,
But time comes like a squall,
Blows away everything,

Time has passed but still I wondering the same question
“If I say it earlier would it be the same? ”
“If I have met you before, would you turn to me? ”
But I don’t need those answers anymore,

Even if you say “yes”, nothing would be the same,
I have to give everything up,
I have to stop wishing,
Cause I know, even a slight there is no empty space for me,

But let me acknowledge you,
The picture of you will always remain the same,
And this withered rose will always waiting for you,

Fin
PS: these words are iris from my heart.
Even though you’ll not be my aster,
I wish that we’re still friends.
