Yellow Kiss Poem by Rachael LoudFingers

Yellow Kiss

Swaying forward and back
In the soft wind
Light reflects off the petal
That pastes a yellow glow
Upon my cheek
It has been too long
Since I have felt laughter
For life has overwhelmed me
With poisonous trepidation
Yet the suns kiss
Vanishes all remorse
As it rises over the meadow
Greeting the fresh new day
Comforting
Holding
Telling Me
In time my dear
You will be okay

I like this one. It's so pretty yet meaningful. I like the word 'pastes' but I don't think it's the right word to use in that situation - you should look for a word that insinuates a more gentle touch, like 'projects, ' 'reflects, ' etc. But something prettier-sounding than those words. (Sorry for the bad suggestions.) And you spelled 'petal' wrong - you wrote 'peddle' instead.
