Yearning In Soul

is I look
a bit lonely
up there

a sad yearning
for a missing piece
incomplete

part
of soul
lost?

haunting?

all
answers
echo

within
solutions
oft run

into fields
sacrifices
dream flights

sad songs
are sometimes
sample best

to express
a yearning
in our souls

sometimes
emotions
yearn pure

run to pitch
high notes
strong voice

heart
hung
hungers

song tone
sad pitch
sad songs

By this still hearth, among these barren crags,
Match'd with an aged wife, I mete and dole
Unequal laws unto a savage race,
