'Yearbook' Poem Poem by Christopher Montalvo

'Yearbook' Poem

For those who stood their ground,
Reached another checkpoint towards success,
Confidence and determination unshaken,
Countless essays, tests, and headaches,
Moments of stress and pain,
Overshadowed by happiness and laughter,
A road we walked together,
Hand in Hand,
Everlasting faith in one another,
Now the adults of today,
Show faith in the adults of the future,
For the world is in our hands,
So as we stare at the sunrise in the morning,
And the sunset in the night,
Wondering if we made the right choices,
Reviewing our mistakes and glories,
There's one thing that we can agree on,
We did high school our way.
