Yahweh Poem by Jocelyn Dunbar

Yahweh

My defender, I stand in awe of you.

The stronghold of my existence,
the inspiration of my soul.
My hopes and my deliverance
We reconnected with each other
Through your son Jesus Christ,
I won the victory over my sins,
Because of him.
You have given me the condition
To become one of your children,
Like your firstborn son, Israel.

You purified my thoughts,
You washed away the filthiness
You have given me the freedom
To the earthly sense and scene.
You secure me to your hands
Never been taken by your enemy.
I am speechless,
Trying to figure out what words I say
To express my heartfelt feeling for you.
Your love is deep,
Deeper than the ocean,
higher than the mountain,
Above the sky.

You have given me a privileged
To experience the beauty of you through your creation.
Your care and affection are strong
You will do anything for the sake of your children.
Your love is amazing!
I see the thing that unable see before,
You supply me with all the things
That I did not deserve, I had it all.

Fabulous, fantastic, remarkable,
Amazing!
Your deeds are unspeakable.

You uphold my whole existence,
Glory to you.
I view you, God,
Yahweh is your name.
