Wynyard Poem by Peter Rhodes

Wynyard

Rating: 4.5

‘Hold me tight'.
She wanted to say;
‘I can't hide this love
Another day.'

‘You've held me now, '
She smiled, and sighed:
‘Now you must go,
This moment's died.'

He looked back
As she walked away:
Her auburn hair
Turned to grey.
