Selection of Best Poems Of Member Poets on PoemHunter leaves much to be desired.
I have sent the following mail to the PoemHunter Administration:
I have examined the statistics of visits to pages and the number of rating of poems, which I understand, is the basis for selection of Best Poems. But, the number of ratings of poems posted in the year 2009 is abnormally high. Evidently, either it is wrongly counted by the system or manipulated.
I request you to examine this aspect thoroughly are correct the mistakes. This will automatically correct the list of Best Poems as well, I hope.

It's 'nice' that we can still vent our frustrations to PH re this site, BUT I suspect NO ONE in the PH 'office' reads such messages. : ))) It IS STILL FREE! ! ! ;) bri
PH must KNOW I was about to complete a scurrilous (or squirrel-ous) comment on how (some) things are (or are not) done on this site, as my unfinished comment suddenly disappeared.

True! This poetry site is good, really good, as it is a treasure of good poetry. And because of its members who write (and love) good poetry.
