Write In Sadness Poem by Michael Walkerjohn

Write In Sadness

Forever
I've lost
and I do not
apologize, for love
is never won; it is earned…
Who suffers in surrounding
confusions at the ends of
those places; in darkness
becoming eternally the
dust, the poison, each
horrible and terrible…
Through the shattered
sway, one not yet
trapped reveals
the lies, the stories
the memories and the
pain enclosed in the tunnel
of light so wrong and dark…
From one whose nightmares
strayed, and in that lingering
mute insanity, stayed beguiled
cursed to forever write in sadness
