Would You Be, Valentine? Poem by JL Byoll

Would You Be, Valentine?

Would you be, valentine?
Just for two, only me, only you.
Never, my gaze, only to you, your beautiful face.
My all are yours, this body, this soul.

So grant me, this only chance.
A day with you, in this romance.
These feelings into words, I bare.
Spoken sincerely, through the sweet air

Let it reach, destined, for your ears.
hoping, you heard, these words of mine.
A question, only today, I would dare
Valentine, would you be mine?
